Many books have been written on conservative politics. Many more have been written calling Christians to holiness and spiritual revival. Few, however, have managed to combine a clear explanation of the conservative political perspective with its corresponding personal and spiritual virtue.

In INDIVISIBLE, James Robison, the founder and president of LIFE Outreach International, partners with Jay Richards, Ph.D., a writer who has appeared in both the New York Times and The Washington Post. Together, they tackle tough, controversial political issues facing conservative Christians today, including abortion, stem cell research, education, economics, health care, the environment, judicial activism, marriage, and others. Written to appeal to a broad spectrum of believers, INDIVISIBLE not only argues political questions from a Scriptural standpoint, it also provides simple arguments that Christians can use to support their beliefs in public settings.

Most significantly, Robison and Richards recognize that the point of origin for spiritual and moral transformation is the individual. “We are convinced by historical precedent that long term cultural change requires not merely sound thinking and public good works but rather, God’s spiritual and moral transformation of us as individuals, which will then transform our churches, our communities, our culture, and ultimately our politics.”

James Robison is the founder and president of LIFE Outreach International, a worldwide Christian relief organization. He is also the host of LIFE Today, a daily syndicated television program that reaches 300 million homes in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia. He is the author of many books, including The Absolutes, True Prosperity, and Living in Love, and has spoken to millions of people through evangelistic crusades since entering public ministry in 1962.

Jay W. Richards, Ph.D., is a Senior Fellow at the Discovery Institute and the author of many books, including the award-winning Money, Greed, and God and The Privileged Planet. He is the executive director of the documentaries The Call of the Entrepreneur and The Birth of Freedom. He has been featured in the New York Times and the Washington Post and has appeared on Larry King Live. He has also lectured on economic myths to members of the U.S. Congress.

  • "INDIVISIBLEcan change forever how you see the world.Grasp the wisdom shared in this book, and the scripture 'My people perish for lack of knowledge' will no longer apply. This can prove to be the much-needed game changer for America."
    Gov. Mike Huckabee
  • "At the very least, every person of faith in America needs to read INDIVISIBLE. Whether the issue is the sanctity of human life, religious freedom, education, or economics, Robison and Richards provide biblical answers to often controversial issues. INDIVISIBLE is the kind of book that can alter the course of a nation if it is read and embraced by our nation's citizens."
Richard Land, President of the Southern Baptist Convention's Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission
  • "I read this book from cover to cover, in one sitting, in awe of what God was up to in these pages. INDIVISIBLE builds a sure bridge of faith and reason over which our country can walk, from our present state of confusion and peril into a new era of peace and prosperity. My friends James Robison and Jay Richards have given the Christian community--indeed, all of us--an invaluable tool for hope."
Father Jonathan Morris, Fox News Analyst and Author of God Wants You Happy
  • "James Robison and Jay Richards chop up and stir some of the most indigestible issues of our time-sex, money, race, gender, education, you name it-and then bite down on the hot and highly seasoned casserole with relish and realism. You'll be talking to the chapters as you go along, cheering them on, and thinking about your Uncle Harry or an errant kid in college who needs to get INDIVISIBLE as a gift. I personally want to see it in the hands of those misguided politicos and media conservatives who think that social issues and economic issues can be separated. They can't, and these irenic and ecumenical authors-an evangelical and a Catholic-make that case persuasively, concussively clear. Presidential candidates, take note."
George Gilder, Co-founder of Discovery Instituteand Author of Wealth & Poverty and The Israel Test
  • "INDIVISIBLE can be a turning point in the moral, cultural, and economic decline of the United States-if its readers make it so. The authors-a leading Evangelical and a prominent Catholic-fairly and thoroughly lay out the fundamental principles without which family, freedom, and prosperity will virtually disappear in this country. If men and women of good will, aware of the historic challenges we face, cannot unite behind these principles-indivisibly social, moral, and economic-and elect leaders who will implement them, future generations will only know of the greatness of this nation as the fading story of a lost treasure."
Father Joseph Fessio, S.J., Founder and Editor, Ignatius Press
  • "Biblical clarity is a great gift today in the midst of our country's complex set of moral and social issues. In this book, Jay Richards and James Robison have given that gift to serious Christians who want to follow and serve Jesus Christ in America with wisdom, courage, and compassion."
Dr. E. Andrew McQuitty, Pastor, Irving Bible Church
  • "WOW! James Robison and Jay Richards' book, INDIVISIBLE, makes a courageous stand for the foundation of America. This is a recipe for restoring our culture."
Dave Stone, Senior Minister of Southeast Christian Church, Louisville, KY
  • "James Robison and Jay Richards have presented to every believer and concerned citizen the issues that must be placed on the table of reason and as focal points for prayer. This is a must read and if these truths are embraced, both the church and nation will experience much needed restoration."
Dr. Tony Evans, President, The Urban Alternative and Senior Pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, Dallas, Texas
  • "A personal relationship with the Lord should affect every area of life, including the political. Politics can be confusing for many-even more so for Christians-as we struggle to make faith and political actions work together in a healthy way. Indivisible delivers concise, godly truth that will cut through the noise and help you develop a biblical perspective on political responsibilities."
Robert Morris, Senior Pastor, Gateway Church, Southlake, Texas
  • "James Robison and Jay Richards inspire us to find the necessary common ground to address our serious challenges. It is not a question of right vs. left, it is right vs. wrong. INDIVISIBLE provides the understanding that concerned people of faith need to help correct our nation's perilous course."
Dr. Jim Garlow, Pastor of Skyline Church, San Diego and Chairman of Renewing American Leadership, Washington, DC
  • "People are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Knowledge is damaged if not destroyed when it is detached from reality. Reality is God's perspective of life and how it is designed to function in His kingdom order. The book INDIVISIBLE contains knowledge, reality and life. For the classroom, living room, board room of corporations, or the war room of governmental decisions, James Robison and Jay Richards have addressed issues that must be faced.
Jim Hylton, Pastor of Skyline Fellowship, Fort Worth, Texas and author of The Supernatural Skyline
  • "A powerful, well-informed, persuasive argument that the `social' and `economic'issues ultimately will stand or fall together. James Robison and Jay Richards provide a fascinating analysis of all the major political issues today and show that conservative policies are both beneficial for the nation and consistent with Christian moral teachings."
Wayne Grudem, Ph.D., Research Professor of Theology and Biblical Studies, Phoenix Seminary, Phoenix, Arizona
  • "It is relatively easy to observe that our society is fast reaching a climactic moment. How to discern a wise, credible, effective and prudent course of action to avoid disaster is not so easy to come across. Jay Richards and James Robison make an important contribution in pointing the way to avoid the worst effects of a coming cultural and economic tsunami."
Rev. Robert A. Sirico, President, Acton Institute
  • "Everywhere I go, Christians have a sense of urgency concerning reclaiming the prophetic voice of the Church in the culture. INDIVISIBLE gives us a framework for understanding and advancing God's agenda in our lifetime. As an African-American leader, I applaud the sensitivity and clarity with which James Robison and Jay Richards have addressed "biblical justice" issues. Their heart for the poor and the least among us is clear, and their biblical solutions are revolutionary. It's time for the true `rainbow coalition'to come forth. This coalition is indivisible as it relates to believing God's covenant. It is indivisible as it relates to unity in the body of Christ. Finally, it's indivisible as it relates to walking our talk in the communities in which we live. As you peruse the pages of this excellent work, may you receive the inspiration to become an agent of His will in your own life, in your family, in your church and in our nation."
Bishop Harry R. Jackson, Jr., Senior Pastor, Hope Christian Church, President, High, Impact Leadership Coalition, Presiding Bishop of the International Communion of Evangelical Churches
  • "In a era when Washington's reach continues to exceed its grasp, INDIVISIBLE defines the right role of government, explains why social and fiscal conservatives should embrace both the morality of markets and the efficiency of the markets-and why doing so requires no simple act of faith."
Arthur Brooks, President, American Enterprise Institute
  • "Rather than accept the common view that faith and politics are ever to be divided, James Robison and Jay Richards appeal convincingly to indivisible principles to show not only that our moral beliefs are compatible with a free market, but also that-now more than ever-religious believers and the advocates of economic freedom must work together to help get our country back on course."
Matthew Spalding, Vice President of American Studies at The Heritage Foundation and author of We Still Hold These Truths: Rediscovering Our Principles, Reclaiming Our Future
  • "Finally, someone has provided the road map for how America gets through the difficulties we are currently experiencing. With their book INDIVISIBLE, James Robison and Jay Richards review American history in great depth, as a prelude to outlining the process for recapturing American Exceptionalism. This book is a critical read for every concerned American and a blueprint for the Christian church. I am encouraged by the unity of effort between these two men of different theologies who put aside their differences in order to help save the nation. Great job, guys!"
LTG(R) Jerry Boykin, Former Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and founding member of the US Army's Delta Force
  • "James Robison and Jay Richards remind us that good stewardship of freedom's blessings means recognizing that the moral and economic foundations of American liberty are indeed, indivisible."
Jennifer Marshall, Director, Domestic Policy StudiesThe Heritage Foundation
  • "For years I was a bystander concerning national issues. I felt it wasn't necessary for me to get involved, especially since my husband is on the front lines. The Lord has shown me how important it is to know the issues so I can pray and stand up for what is right.INDIVISIBLEwill equip you with what you need to know so you can present, discuss, and defend your beliefs effectively in these trying times. You, too, can make a difference!"
Betty Robison, Co-host, "LIFE Today" Television,Fort Worth, Texas
  • "James Robison and Jay Richards have given America a tremendous gift. INDIVISIBLE is a stunning synthesis and super clear explanation of the most important issues facing us today, full of wisdom and grace and truth. It should give all who read it real hope that God has not forsaken this nation and that there is indeed a way forward. I pray that book groups will study this book and use it to become part of the solution, so that America might again fulfill God's call upon her, to be a beacon of hope and freedom for the world."
Eric Metaxas, New York Times bestselling author of Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy and Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery
  • "This is no grocery store romance novel. But it is full of love and truth--the twin sources of every great romance. So... 'read and heed'... and step up to an active role in restoring America to her glorious roots--`with liberty and justice for all.'"
    Stu Weber, pastor and author
  • "We cannot have a strong national defense without a strong economy. We cannot have a strong economy without a healthy culture and vibrant, in-tact families. These assertions are demonstrable; a blizzard of research proves them. In their moving new book, INDIVISIBLE, James Robison and Jay Richards make a compelling case that Christians must continue working - with grace, humility, diligence and determination - to advance the sanctity of life, the dignity of marriage and the traditional family and the centrality of religious liberty to our nation."
Tony Perkins, President, Family Research Council
  • "I have read dozens of books on how to apply a Christian worldview to public policy, but INDIVISIBLE is by far the most clear, simple, and compelling book of its kind. I especially appreciate how James and Jay acknowledge thearguments against their position and respond in a reasonable fashion. You may disagree with what they say, but you'll have to admit that they've been agreeable in the way they said it. INDIVISIBLE not only sound a clear note, it does so in a way that brings civility to anoften uncivil arena."
